C.J. BOX - MYSTERY WRITER EXTRAORDINAIRE

Today I met my favorite author, C.J.Box, a mystery writer with many awards.
He has twelve novels under his belt, in twelve languages. He won the
prestigious Edgar Award for Blue Heaven - 2008 Best Novel, and it is being
optioned for a film currently looking at Jack Nicholson to star.

C.J.'s latest Book, Nowhere To Run was released yesterday, and he was
in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the City News Shop signing books for his hundreds of
fans that showed up.

Ten of his novels involve a Wyoming Game Warden named Joe Pickett.
Joe Pickett fans are certain about one thing, that Joe is a man
of integrity. He is vulnerable, yet has the strength and courage
to see him through some of the most dangerous and complicated
situations that only an author with a brilliant imagination could
conceive.

Personally, I am in love with Joe Pickett, even though he is married,
even though he has three daughters, and even though he is a fictional
character. He just makes me swoon! :-)

Here is C.J.'s website if you'd like to find out more:

SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM

March 19 to June 13, 2010
Studio 54 ~ 254 W 54th Street
BARBARA COOK, TOM WOPAT, VANESSA WILLIAMS
Brand new arrangements of over 2 dozen Sondheim tunes

What's really fabulous about all this, is that Stephen Sondheim is 80,
Barbara Cook is 82, Tom Wopat is 58, and Vanessa Williams is 47.
I ask you, is the world not becoming ageless?
There is no stopping great talent. I myself hit 74 in March.
And I KNOW I've got at least a good 30 more years left in me.

I don't feel any different today, than I did when I was dancing,
way back in 1953. Yes Virginia, there IS life after age.
Things are just getting better and better...
